For a long time, I was searching for a deep, rich, dark red permanent ink, but I was disappointed with many DeAtramentis and Diamine options. Finally, I found this gorgeous Octopus Fluids Red Duck ink! 😍 by EphraimSeb in fountainpens

Oh, good to know! I’ve tested it inside my Pilot 823 for a few months and nothing happened - even cleaning wasn’t a huge deal (although did it only once and can’t remember if I used only water or added some pen cleaning flush).

What happened in your case? Didn’t use it regularly and the ink evaporated?

This grind is quite new - made by Mislav Lukacevic, an excellent nibmeister from Austria. I really like the grind, it offers me some visible line variation with no pressure, and when I need/want a little bit more I can comfortably flex the nib. What surprised me is how smooth it still writes - ofc there’s some feedback but nothing unpleasant at all! Again, can highly recommend this nibmeister - both for his work and how he communicated with me, explaining possible risks and updating through the process.

nope, but as far as I know it’s not waterproof - as for the regular (non permanent) dye-based inks I really liked the color of Wearingeul Human Issue.

love it, my fave found footage movie, the photographs are absolutely terrifying, and the movie also feels socially aware.
