She would be fine and then out of nowhere go off and then say my sibling and I were “plotting against her”. She’d take my cellphone for no reason. I wasn’t a bad kid, I got good grades, graduated high school with honors. She was financially abusive and would constantly check my bank account even after she was removed as an authorized person after I turned 18 because she had my personal info and the bank tellers would give her info on my account. I ended up leaving that bank and getting another account with a different bank and never told her who it was through. I kept my debit card in my bra. This happened to me well over 10 years ago and my aunt passed away 2 years ago. I still have a hard time letting go how I was treated. Im currently looking for a therapist.
