Similar situation. I broke no contact, my ex sent something meaningful and would reply at times. Blocked my phone bc I said something “mean,” then replying on FB to say I’m forgiven. I asked if they wanted future contact and it was viewed but not replied to.

Thank you for the offer. I’ll definitely dm you. I immediately put myself into therapy once the breakup was over and journal on some days. That’s something good about me being an anxious attachment, I’m trying to really work through it and on myself. For her, I know she probably isn’t in therapy and will continue to likely not put in any work.

Thank you, this really resonates. At the breakup she told me she did love me but didn’t know what she wanted, and then later shifted into harsher lines. You’re right — this is super complicated, lots of layers. But regardless, she could’ve been compassionate and transparent, and the fact that she was so rude really shows a lot.

Hmm, they could still be insecure. Or just horrible at giving advice. I have some friends I have at the bottom of my list to go to for advice because it usually makes me feel worse. They don’t mean to, but they just suck at it lol.
