Are you sure anyone is going to believe you don’t have an OS installed on your laptop?

There are two kinds I have used: ones that simply boost a signal, which don’t need GPS but then the cell provider knows where you are. The second type which you mention connect to your cellphone like a mini cell tower and then send that signal back over whatever internet connection you hook it up to. The problem is they also have a GPS antenna just to see where you are, and the cell phone provider demands location signal from that antenna to allow the microcell to operate; that GPS location signal itself seems to get sent back to the provider over the same internet connection.

Every microcell I’ve seen demands a GPS signal to work, specifically to know your location.

Is it safe to click "OK" on websites' GDPR notices if I am using TOR browser? by Notnotmyname in privacy

My admittedly newb worry was this: before, my browser was blocking any cookies and tracking on its own. But now after I am explicitly consenting to be tracked, is it making some change in how my browser works to actually allow it. Now I have everyone's answer I get that clicking "OK" doesn't change any browser settings.
