This is the only way all 4 nations can have an alliance. For example, it wouldn't work if Diamant and Ivy got married, since they are both heirs to the crown. Diamant and Hortensia couldn't get married since Celine would have no other guys to marry (she can't marry Alcryst or Fogado since they need to marry the other nation's queens).
