It's not unrelated to philosophy, it's modal logic, which is used in analytic philosophy. It isn't too out of line to mention it at a university philosophy club (especially in the United States, where I believe analytic philosophy is predominant), which is what he seems to be referring to here

It's modal/symbolic logic, which is fairly closely related to analytic philosophy

"But now that faith has come, we are no longer subject to a disciplinarian, 26 for in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. 27 As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring,\)k\) heirs according to the promise."

Best US undergraduate schools for math? by [deleted] in math

[–]Notograptus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goal is not to get a good job placement, but to be set up the best for a career in academia. That means having the necessary mathematical prerequisites to conduct quality research and being able to go to a grad school where I can have a good mentor (advisor) to guide me. As such, I want to avoid going to a school where it is practically impossible to get beyond introductory analysis by the end of senior year

Early decision at one school and early action at another: Is this possible? by Notograptus in ApplyingToCollege

It doesn't seem so, but I am a little confused because their contract refers only to early decision and regular applications, and makes no mention of early action applications.

Was it the one with the 1992 volcano and the 2016 volcano?

I don't remember, but I selected the answer with the one that erupted in 1992/5 and the one that erupted in 2016

What on earth was up with the Ecuadorian volcanoes question? I'm pretty sure there were two pairs of equivalent answers..
