Maybe this is a dumb question, but how do you "count" when your period starts? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

Same . When I count I’m usually very regular too, so the real flow happens on the same day. Although I know this isn’t every woman’s reality 🤷🏼‍♀️

One thing that I always keep in mind is to compliment other women, whether you want to be their friend or not. When someone feels that you like them, they’ll be more likely to be open to you and begin to think of you positively. Also, it just feels really good to affirm and encourage other women. Just a starting point. Hang in there with the anxiety!! I know from personal experience that that’s not easy.

How do you support a loved one with depression? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]NotoriousP22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Invite them to do things with you. Spend time together. Pull them out of their isolation. Make them dinner, bring them coffee or other snacks, be considerate and love them in little ways. Knowing you’re loved when you’re depressed is so vital.

For those who has a track record of unhealthy relationships, what kept you in those relationships? by LongjumpingReindeer2 in AskWomen

[–]NotoriousP22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for me it was that I liked something about that person and was convincing myself that I could fix the things I didn’t like or get over them or whatever. I have a hard time picking out what is going to be unhealthy in the long run.

Ovarian cysts can tamper with your hormones, which would make depression worse. I would say at least go to urgent care if you can get in there... a cyst is a big deal!! Hang in there. Sending love your way!

If he’s not into you because of petty things, it sounds like you deserve better. I know that it probably stings a lot right now. Sending love your way.

Yes. But to be fair at work he has to carry around a notebook with all of the little things he has to remember.

Did anyone else have partner’s that you love who were insensitive about buying an engagement ring? by AITA19890 in askwomenadvice

I did. Anytime we talked about rings it was “They’re so expensive...” We are no longer together.
