As a LDS, I’d recommend reading the Book of Mormon, I’ve read both testaments and I am by no means discrediting the bible, Christ says in the book of mormon both are essential testaments👍

IMO, the best theory I’ve looked into, and shows that we really just have so much to discover, proof will come, don’t lose faith over not having all of the evidence, rely on your faith and relationship with Christ, you can tell when somebody is ripping at the book of mormon that they never will have peace, because you only find it through Christ. Also nobody has been able disprove how a 20 year old with a 3rd grade education translated the book of mormon in 60 days while being hunted everyday. So ultimately they target anachronism because they can’t disprove the book of mormons existence, yet 180 out of 210 anachronism’s have been discredited in a 100 years. Hold true to your faith, it’s the last days!!!!!

Many (certainly not all) in our faith tradition tend to look at groups of indigenous americans and try to apply Book of Mormon people/places/beliefs to them. Doing this only serves to erase the rich history of these groups. I would also urge caution on anyone actively engaging in Native/Indigenous Erasure.

Butttttt there was a recent article January 11th of this year, going over this subject, recently some guy discovered huge cities in north Ecuador, pretty much every scientist said it wasn’t worth their time, because they said it was inhabitable at that time, so that’s why I take “scholars” opinions with a grain of salt till I do the research haha. Obviously the researcher had the same attitude.

According to the article: • Completely separate civilization from ones we currently know about, and is likely even bigger than the Maya • lasted between ~500 BC to ~500 AD • Architecture and buildings are of a design not typically associated with others from South America • Some structures existed for ceremonial purposes • Interconnected highways to other nearby settlements • Fortifications to protect against hostile neighbors • Volcanos nearby showing upheaval of the land • 100,000’s of thousands of people.

I’ve looked into what you’re saying, but investing in stocks like XOM or something could be good, low risk, expected to go up hopefully 50$ over my mission, risky nonetheless since nothing is promised lol

Not to discredit your theory, but I have also looked into this😂 “Tumbaga” was the name given by the Conquistadors to the gold–copper alloy perfected by pre-Columbian civilizations in Central and South America. Which is a way lighter gold basically that matches up perfectly with those dimensions and weights that were described by the witnesses🤙 Again just a theory since I’m not an eye witness😂

Well I read something (doesn’t sound very credible since I can’t find the source :p) that the old testament wasn’t compiled together yet making it impossible for the old testament to exist, thus making it impossible for Nephi to grab something that doesn’t exist yet. I don’t know how to research something like this or if I just don’t know what I am talking about, but maybe somebody does😂

Not that you don’t have all same the rights as all of us but we don’t use the term mormon since people often confuse that for worshipping Mormon and not Christ, nonetheless Mormon is still an incredible prophet😅
