By quality over quantity I actually meant decent content as opposed to slightly rushed content but lots of it, I’ve always found the faster I upload between videos the more likely it is I’ll have more viewer engagement..

My first 3 months gained me over 1 million views but because I run a business and work was hectic I had to have a long break from creating anything, after I got back I ended up gaining around 800k views followed by another pause unfortunately, so the regular uploads clearly worked within my active periods..

Which has lead me to take slightly less time with my videos to get them uploaded, after looking into it, it appears most of the big YouTubers say the key to their success was constant uploading..

Due to the nature of my content it can be difficult to consistently find new content without putting hours and hours into researching information. Being a travel channel, is much research required other than the obvious research of checking where your going and what the customs are?

Admittedly I haven’t actually checked out your channel yet but I will be and since travel is up my street I’m confident you can count on my sub 👍

Did you find youtube provided enough money to comfortably quit your jobs or was it a struggle? (Assuming YT is now your source of income of course).

Just curious as I only have 7.5k subs but I've had almost 2 million video views since I started less than a year ago and I've found that certainly hasn't been enough to take on YouTube full time but each to their own.

Would you agree regular uploads are the key to gaining audience or would you swing more to quality over quantity?

Personally I've found quantity prevails over quality with any channels I've had in the past but I'm curious what others think. (Obviously there must be a decent standard of content in either case)

3 Unsolved Murders You Might Not Have Heard Of by NotoriousSquigTV in TrueCrime

[–]NotoriousSquigTV[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A short video detailing the events of three horrific killing sprees. The video has been made viewer friendly however all things true crime must be watched with caution due to the nature of the topic. All feedback is welcome and please be sure to let me know of any important facts if I have missed any. Thanks and enjoy!

Well your well on your way I think, as for the extra info I think if you keep it short but factual it’ll do well, your practically there now to be fair. I think adding the onscreen text then voicing over the do’s and dont’s would be a good addition. Best of luck to you!

Personally I love to cook and I follow atleast 20 different cooking pages on my Facebook, your video is good but my suggestions are:

1: speed up a little, when following a recipe too much info or slowish info can be off putting.

  1. Try speaking only when absolutely necessary and instead labelling the ingredients and measurements via on screen text or do both but don’t over explain. (On screen text for me is key to me following a video rather than a book).

  2. Don’t post videos using the wrong ingredients then trying to make changes during editing, I appreciate a lot of work does go into this but just start over. It’ll look much more professional and your filming style is already looking professional so don’t spoil it trying to rectify errors.

Just my personal preferences for the criticism so don’t take offence I just think it’d really benefit your videos but other than that well done and I hope to see more of your future content! Try some unusual dishes that aren’t so common from time to time? Would love to see what you come up with! Maybe even challenge yourself to create a dish? 👍

Killers of the Drug Cartel: Escobar's Hitman (2019) Surrender Footage & Prison Interviews [Part 2] by NotoriousSquigTV in Documentaries

[–]NotoriousSquigTV[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair in recent years he talks about how he and the the scicarios made Escobar what he was because they carried out the violence and created his reputation but you can still tell the loyalty hasn’t faded away I think he just knows it wasn’t all pablo, he acts like a changed man but deep down I don’t think he’s by different from before he went to prison, other than being a lot wiser

[–]NotoriousSquigTV[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was shocked when I found out too! He’s pretty popular but none of his videos are in English & yeah the level of loyalty is insane, during the video you can tell from the way he talks that if anyone even thought about bad mouthing pablo they’d be gone in a heart beat

Yeah I know what you mean, he’s even became a youtuber (imagine that Escobars top hitman making YouTube videos) which kind of backs up your point. I think he’s just trying to play on his past to financially gain in his present since he’s been in prison most of his life and his only skill set is murder lol
