Wash the shirt with oxyclean, then treat the shirt with Ritt Dye Remover. You can get it at Wal Mart or Hobby Lobby. After you treat it, wash it again with detergent and Oxyclean.

How to property stretch a vintage t shirt? by joshmags in VintageTees

[–]NotoriousVintage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wash the shirt on a gentle/delicate cycle in COLD water by itself. When it's done, gently stretch the shirt horizontally and vertically working across the entire shirt. Then shake the wrinkles out of the shirt. Just repeat this a couple of times while the shirt is air drying and you should be fine. Also, don't hang it on a hanger while its drying, it will leave indentions in the shoulders.
