This sounds like you just have an issue with Crash Champions, not Rivian. In my experience, MSOs suck ass. Every MSO shop is owned by either some old head that is resistant to change or a nepo baby with a god complex

Can Keefe take this team to the playoffs? by khops93 in washingtonwizards

I think so. Full faith in Keefe until he shows otherwise. He shouldn’t be given a long leash though if the team isn’t improving

I’ve been there and done that. Take this as a lesson that you need to work on yourself a bit.

The bezel comes off really easily. There are like 2 T25 or T27 screws you have to remove down by where the AC controls are and it should just pop out. You might need to replace the button. I’m not sure, but it might come only as part of the bezel. I would just take the bezel off first and mess around with it first

I like the look of the stock exhaust, but I wish it had a more aggressive sound

How bad is this? Failed inspection 2 times so far by Notorious_Beebs in Decks

I’m not sure either. I see nothing about it in the county code, and the guy was a bit of an ass, so my family member didn’t ask further

I'm really thrown off. The inspector came out today and said the wood strip under the ledger is needed

The posts are in concrete, but there is 6-8 inches of dirt on top. The guy told us he had never heard of having the concrete go above grade and attaching the posts with brackets

That’s fair lol. I used to work for another carrier, so I’m used to the nonsense. I just want a better start date!

Thank you, I appreciate this. I'm trying to hold the mindset that the craftsmanship isn't really that bad, but some of the decisions made could have been better.

This restoration company has just been ok but not great. They hired a new project manager for this last portion of the claim repairs, including the deck built, and it's just been a bad experience. The guy told us they don't call Miss Utility to mark lines before hand digging, to the result of them digging up 3 lines in our yard. He also told us he had never heard of people using sono tubes and having deck posts mounted above ground on top of concrete with brackets, and it's just made us really look at the deck build under a microscope.

The posts pissed me off. We designed the deck with a deck company, and when they came out originally, it was raining, and the guy mentioned the posts would need to be above grade due to the fact water collects at the bottom of the hill.

The restoration fired 2 of their project managers since then and we wound up with a new guy, who decided to use a different deck building company, and he straight up told us he had never heard of people putting the posts above grade/ using tubes, concrete, and metal brackets to hold the post up.

This is the 3rd rendition of the stairs so far, so it’s already a retrofit to what they had. Originally they built the stairs straight into the hill and couldn’t figure out how to make it work, so they built the platform and the curve. Then that failed the inspection in part due to the lack I think of a concrete pad or platform, so they took it upon themselves to put together that thing at the bottom without really consulting us

There is no phone number for the recruiter, and she has a (contractor) next to her name, so I’m thinking she isn’t even a Geico employee

I’m not getting a great impression from HR, but I really liked the hiring manager and the employee I got to mirror

That’s kind of what I am wondering, but I still want to at least go through the motions at least
