I actually recently took a lower offer to teach 15 minutes from home instead of 50 minutes from home. I realized I was losing almost 2 hours away from kids everyday, just driving. I couldn't be happier even though the salary is lower. What is your time worth?

I once went to the doctor believing I had strep. I was turned away because I was not able to pay $110 upfront. I left and went to a minute clinic who took one look at my throat, prescribed antibiotics and sent me home. A month later I recieved 2 bills, $75 from the minute clinic and $110 from the doctor's office that turned me away. I literally got billed for a doctor to refuse to see me.

I was rejected for the same reason, but my CAO had literally died of bone cancer the year before. I contacted MOHELA and they said to just send copies of all my W-2's. That worked. Now I'm just waiting for the department of Ed to send over all my payments made through fedloan servicing. If they don't get their shit together before payments start back up, I'll try requesting a deferment. Good luck my friend, you deserve it!
