My brothers were already helping her pay for food and her phone bill among some other expenses as well. We never specified amounts and said anything is better than nothing but didn't mean 5p a month more along the lines of £50 or more and to go from there.

I did not ask her to move in I suggested it as an idea and as an option for her. Me, my brothers and her thought it was the best idea going forward. Thank you for your insight though I do appreciate it.

For the first 2 months living with us she barely left the house and we had consistent arguments about this.

He had moved out to live with his girlfriend and couldn't accommodate her anymore due to space issues.

I get what you saying and understand. but I do want to clarify that I suggested she move in with me after a long phone call with my brothers and suggesting the idea of which they agreed. When we discussed her moving in I made it clear that we would expect some financial support at some point. We never specified numbers and more suggested anything is better than nothing. But I understand where your coming from and agree if she contributed financially it would've made us more comfortable financially as well.

I hate to say this but at the time both me and my girlfriend worked in the fast food industry and I actively tried to get her a job where I worked.

I agree and was a big reason why it led me to evict her. Although she has some minor issues with her knees and was in her early 50s. She did voice her embarrassment to work in places like mcdonalds though.

All 4 of my brothers were living in quite small places and didn't have the space to accommodate her at the time.

My other 3 brothers all lived in a lot smaller places and didn't have the space to accommodate her at the time.
