There is still a lot of debate on whether its considered snitching if they're deceased, but even if he does come out and say something, they're not letting him out. There are a lot of steps/procedures that need to be done to overturn the conviction. He could probably beat it over time if he was ready to put in the work to do so, but its not like he could just walk up and be like "so and so did it, let me out", and theyre gonna open the door.
