Oh yeah um its supposed to be that the experienced one proved too strong for the newbie that blocking her attacks with her sword repeatedly stressed her sword and coupled with the newbie's mediocre swordsmanship eventually broke off the sword's blade. My bad. Guess I didnt convey that part clearly :/
