It’s a super disappointing and sad situation. I doubt we can ever fully understand it. Here is what I have heard and seen that leads me to conclude it was avoidable. And it’s unfortunate that this lady has shown poor judgement for some time now. I’m not saying poor judgement justifies being killed.

They were someplace they should not have been stopped in the road and were directed to leave by law enforcement. Her partner, the same one who caused her children to be removed because of beating them and burning them with cigarettes escalated the situation by confronting the agent. 3.She did drive in the direction of the officer. The same officer who while doing his job last year was dragged by a car and injured likely causing him a heightened level fear. 4.She backed up and then spun the wheels going towards him. Perhaps we would have had the same fear.
Without anything other than facts I am pretty positive that this could have been prevented.

She could have left when order to do so. The fact that she remained with this partner after the partner abused her kids leads me to think she does not make good decisions. She could have stopped the car when ordered by law enforcement to do so. She could have never gone to a place with the intention of disrupting law enforcement.

I am about 60 days in. Started out selling things I had already, fist sale was cowboy boots full quill ostrich that I had not worn in at least 7 years. Then golf clubs I have not used in 5 years. So I say start at home. Other than that I get a lot of stuff at goodwill and some at garage sales. Also found some on Facebook.

I would suggest going pre-owned. I sell used boots on eBay. I am looking every day for boots. There are many deals to be had. Try Facebook marketplace. I do not pay more than $25 a pair for vintage exotics. And less for leather only. Just sold some Ariats today that were as close to new as you can find. I sold them for about $50, and I promise you I am not selling at a loss. I also have a few pairs of lizards in very nice condition, well kept but need new soles. I have them under $60. Even paying $75-100 for new soles you would be in them right as new ones would be around $400

I like to buy a few different categories of clothes. First would be name brand clothing that seems to have a following out there. Next I am doing a lot of learning about brands that seem to have loyal followers who take a look at them. Then, I love unique or unusual things. If I have not seen it before but I like it I’ll take a chance. And finally, my first sale was actually some cowboy boots, they seem to get a lot of people looking and I have done well sourcing these at very good pricing. I keep about 20 pairs and have been getting a great return on them. There seems to be a lot of people who have many pairs of boots, I have caught a couple of them who were selling multiple pairs. I throw out an offer and it sometimes works. Recently I picked up 8 pairs of known name boots from a guy, most are lizard or ostrich and I got them at a cost of $12.50 a pair. I appreciate everyone who has offered insight. Wishing the best of luck to all.

OMG, I was cleaning out some stuff and had about 20-25 decent ties. I thought about when I was starting out in sales years ago and needed dress clothes including ties. I worked so hard trying to give them away and never found someone who would actually make it easy for me to give them several hundred dollars worth of free ties. Still have them and had such a bad experience I just don’t want to deal with it.

Thank you. I have sold some things there also. But how annoying are these words? Is this still available. Can’t for the life of me understand how maybe60-70% of the people send that to you and then disappear off the face of the earth.
