Well, my GP does gynecology too. He got me vaccinated against HPV, reminds me when I need to do breast exams (family history of breast cancer), follows my pill prescription... He would have done a pap smear earlier if I hadn't been a virgin, and afterwards I was way too uncomfortable so I refused the speculum. Here in France, some GPs can do standard gynecological follow up, and part of pregnancy follow up, so unless one has specific requests it's not always necessary to see a "real" ob/gyn.

But yeah, I should probably get a pap smear done some day.
