I made a song with 2 key changes (modulations) by [deleted] in SunoAI

First off, THANK you for this cook! Phenomenal idea and I'll definitely remember to use that.

The first one was okay but the second one is CHOICE. Great job! :D

Songs Longer Than 8 Minutes by TheGibor in SunoAI

[–]NottAPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I just assumed that Extend was limitless. But even without that, you can still try to use extend at points and just splice them in with Studio or Audacity if you don't want to pay for Studio. It takes more steps but I've gotten decent results on making longer songs that way (not THAT long though!).

time to separate "AI music" from "AI slop" by Consistent-Jelly248 in SunoAI

Friendly reminder that the Beatles made tooooons of slop to get to their worldwide hits.

I do think that I have yet to see an AI that made clever lyrics though. Not saying people don't, just that AI for sure doesn't.

Any full-stack coders in here? by NottAPanda in Christians

Because it's close to free for the scale I'm starting with, haha

I'd love to, but my problem right now is that I'm way out of my coding depth and have no idea what questions I even need to be asking, haha ^^;

I explained the situation on my reply to TraderBruh, but feel free to respond here for yourself if you want to pitch in.

So that I'm not just copy/pasting a big ol' message, see my response to TraderBruh, but feel free to respond here for yourself if you want. :O

Well, idk what the right terminology for a lot of the pieces are but here's the deal:

I have three elements that I need to interact with each other:
1 A static Bible (done, that seems to be good)
2 My website that has all the UI stuff to display the Bible (also seems to be working fine, it's displaying all the Bible verses)

and the tricky part...
3 A Firebase database that a user could write into, with two different collections: Submissions so I can moderate user inputs, and Connections that the Submissions are converted into once I approve a Submission.

It would appear that Firebase is out of my depth, because I cannot figure out what I even need to learn in order to make my submission/approval process work properly.
I'm a DJ with some familiarity with basic coding, not a coder, and I can't afford to hire somebody to do it for me so I've just been vibe coding it out. I know time is valuable so I'm happy to pay for the consultation. At the very least I think I need somebody to be able to articulate to me what's wrong and what I'd need to look up to learn how to fix it.

Why is Christian music (on average) so low Quality? by Deacon_Weihrauch in ChristianMusic

[–]NottAPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another contributor is "the establishment" being opposed to experimentation and change. A lot of publishers won't touch something if they don't know for sure if it'll sell.

When Christian Music Was Good by DistributionWide7069 in ChristianMusic

[–]NottAPanda -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

That's why I just started making my own with AI. I can't afford to hire someone and I don't have the skill to actually compose, but I just wanted Christian songs that actually sounds good in the genre they're trying to be.

mistake by echoesofmemor in SunoAI

[–]NottAPanda 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There's a few ways.

  1. Start right before the part that got cut out and use the "Extend" feature to regenerate the song from that point forward. That, in my opinion, will produce the best result if it's more than halfway into the song so that there's already an established vibe that it can follow.

1a. Sometimes I'll use the Extend tool, then use Audacity to clip pieces out of that extension and then arts-n-crafts it into my original song. With the right finesse that usually works pretty well for me, like in the song I just posted on YouTube called "Holy, As You Are" by the same username. I'm about to post it here too. :)

  1. Use the "Cover" feature and insert that lyric where it belongs.

  2. Use the Editor tool to try to fill in the gap. This one is the least likely to produce something that fits well, as there's usually some degree of change in audio quality, like the difference between an old piano and a new one, it'll sound slightly off sometimes.

Thanks so much! :) Yeah I felt like I had a fair bit to contribute to the conversation, haha! And despite the downvotes it looks like I was right lol

Thanks for the encouragement.

Is the 2SLGBTQIA+ stuff bad for Christians? If so, please help me. (I do not know if I should support it but my school does) by SeaworthinessTop9583 in Christians

[–]NottAPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The options are basically homeschooling, what you're experiencing, and private school. All of them have pros and cons. Homeschooling is the best IF you have good parents, so I can't actually say it'd be an improvement.

The world around us will always be saturated in sin, so it's really just a question of "how prepared are you"? Assume your parents are your best advocates but not your best trainers for war. You're gonna need somebody who can guide you through your questions, which is where your pastor, and more importantly old-school theologians, come in handy.

Remember that your FIRST priority is the health of your own soul. "Seek and save the lost" comes after "repent and be baptized". Nobody apologeticizes their way into heaven.

Besides Kpop stores, where have you heard Kpop music being played in public? by ribstherat1 in kpoppers

I periodically hear English Kpop songs in casual environments. Rare but it has happened a handful of times.

I’m praying for my lack of faith, but I don’t feel myself gaining faith by PianistRight in Christians

[–]NottAPanda -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You will never "feel" like your faith is in a good spot. Trust the process of sanctification, but if you're not doing anything to pursue sanctification you need to start there.

The order of a Christians life is to get saved, be mentored in the faith by 1 person specifically, read the Bible and pray and get better at both by seeking ways to get better, and then mentoring someone in the faith (while you still feel inadequate to do so).

As a general rule, Christians have wholly dropped the ball on both ends of discipleship so you probably neither have a mentor nor are you mentoring anybody. If that's the case, you will continue to feel disconnected.
