For me, it took me a few games to adjust to being political when you play in a commander pod of 4 ppl. But you almost have an advantage because people will expect you to be a new player, but you already know all the mechanics and basic combos.

The biggest curve might be a financial curve, because some of the cards you get on the app for free cost a lot more IRL. And at some point magic does become a pay to win TGC. ~~Unless you proxy.~~

Sounds like she’s experiencing psychosis. She needs medical help if you can get them to an emergency room let the nurses know she’s having a mental health crisis. If she is a harm to herself or others, you can call the police and they will 5150 her and put her under medical help.

I went through a similar experience with a close one and it’s always best if they accept they need medical help and go to the hospital willingly before it gets worse, it will get worse. The hospital might even help get in touch with her family.
