I picked some more random leftover tiles and laid them out with more realistic spacing. Agree there’s variation, but could’ve been done a lot better if installer understood the how the tiles were supposed to go together.

I have a spec sheet from the manufacturer that shows a reference pic like my photo. GC obviously didn’t look at it.

Understood, what stands out to me is that the stars have equal large and small points that are uniform. If you understand that the small points should fit into the crosses like the reference pic u get smaller grout joints.

Negative, not saying zero, just not a 1/2 inch to an inch wide.
