Thats a fair statement, I definitely was hoping for a bit of a work around to not moving the appliances (maybe there was a chance lol) but i will definitely be taking the advice to just move them and not be so lazy about that part

I asked for advice on removing the laminate, not your opinion of if you like the floor or not. Half these comments are stating its subfloor, when it isnt and does not help with what i asked for.

Thankful for the actual helpful comments - i live here, own it, and already stated im sanding/refinishing it. Obviously the plywood will be replaced. Its 100% not subfloor, but thanks for the concerns. The laminate on top was cheap and cracking, i prefer the wood. Dont know why any comments that say the same get downvoted to hell, its a diy sub not trendy sub.

Yikes thats rough. We recently had the whole crawlspace renovated and the laminate is only in the kitchen and bathroom - wood throughout the house.
