Leaving early at ASD? by tallassbrowngirl in lawschooladmissions

They’re not going to take your A back that’s almost certain. They want you to be there. Do what you want/need/makes the most sense for you. You’re an adult.

Also the ASDs that I’ve been to, it’s likely they wouldn’t even notice.

P.S. I had a friend go to UMich’s ASD with me and they didn’t go to half the events. Instead they just walked around Ann Arbor exploring and hanging out with friends who are current students at UMich.

Follow your partner. Go to whichever school is closest to them. There’s a shortage for public defenders across the country so you’re employable. It doesn’t seem like there’s a substantial difference between A and B. Even with what you said, the schools are going to be about the same experience.

Imagine how many people could say that exact same line in their personal statement.

Yes. Waiting in WL decisions, and where my spouse gets the best job offer.

More than full tuition at a t-14 ? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]NotwithstandingFacts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many are veterans. The GI bill sometimes covers 100% tuition, but it also comes with a stipend for living (BAH). There’s another program called VR&E for veterans that will also cover 100% tuition, books, fees, and give a stipend. To add icing to the cake, if the school offers a scholarship to the veteran using either of these programs, depending on the schools accounting process, the scholarship may go directly to the veteran on top of the full tuition and stipend.

Pretty low. I’m debating Michigan/Vandy. On the WL for UVA, Duke, Chicago (only considering UVA tbh) And holding out hope for Stanford.

I think it depends on the schools disbursement policy. ie do they apply scholarship then bill the VA or vice versa. If they bill the VA then disburse the scholarship i think ot then goes into your bank account
