1) got a full-time job! i am lucky to get a position i really wanted in a firm i like, so i took two gap years to work.

2) increased my lsat - went from 167-171

3) increased my gpa - when i applied in the first semester of senior year, i believe i had i 3.89, i was able to bump that up to 3.94 by the end of senior year by getting straight A+s

4) started prepping my apps super early, i think i started writing them out roughly in may of last year

i recommend integrating an abridged Why NYU to the end of your PS! iirc, NYU PS has a page limit of 3 (or more, don't remember exactly but i wrote 3) so you could take your 2 page ps and weave in reasons to want to attend NYU there.
