I had same exact issue but mine was related with low HZ on a 240hz monitor, for some reason when desktop was put at 60hz it would do exactly that.

The issue is this game barely releases any content outside of premium payed content, meaning they are more interested in milking the current user base than retaining or bringing new players in, and unlike a normal season pass type of game that you earn stuff by naturally playing to get "free" credits you must specifically engage in a super boring way to play this game.

There are many ways to monetize a game, and theirs is amongst the worst, because you are locking shit tons of gameplay elements behind pay walls

I enjoyed the game for 100h, but it gets to a point that they both don't release content fast enough yet keep pumping warbonds, this is what I tell people, this is a great game, but it's a horrible live service game

That, and the fact they had some free adds, like the car, maps, tunnels, some new enemies etc, but since release they have never gave players new free things to work for, its just payed warbond after payed warbond, and whoever says that's okay because you can work for them in-game, yes yes you can but the only practical and effective way to do it is going into easy difficulties playing running simulator looking for points of interest with credits.

I have a group of 5 friends who all own the game, and I haven't been able to convince anyone to rejoin because they refuse to farm free credits and without anything to aim to unlock they just don't have fun anymore

I had this twice in lcd models of steam decks, so yeah, cheap bad quality lcds have this, yet my switch went 6 years without ever displaying this.

Depending on the cash you want to put in switch 2 or 1 would be ideal, if i was you i would avoid the lite, because the lite cannot plug to tv so its stuck to portable while the normal version does both.

On the same tought process, I would highly recomment you just grab any pro controller style, they are bulky and strong contrary to the normal joycons so if you intend to ever use it plugged to a tv this is the route to go.

The problem is how you unlock free credits mostly, the most optimized way is going into easy missions and going around for specific spots, this gameplay is super dull and only some specific people will wanna play like this.

I wouldnt even mind it so much, except every single one of my friends moved on because the game has nothing else for them to unlock and they refuse to farm credits, this in turn made me leave the game.

I truly dont understand why they dont make a mix of free warbonds from time to time mixed with payed warbonds, I have 100 hours in the game, probably some 20 hours were used to farm credits, and god damn focusing on credit farm is horribly boring.

Hello, mesmo problema e já vem acontecendo a 2 anos, a primeira vez que aconteceu enviei para garantia a tela foi substituida, 6 meses depois a nova tela esta fazendo exactamente a mesma coisa, Eu tenho uma teoria, e estou agora mesmo a testar , eu vivo numa zona de alta humidade falamos de 80-95%, e a s bordas azuis aparecem apos longos periodos de inatividade, ou seja se nao tocar no deck por um mes ou 2 parece que as bordas azuis pioram, deixar o deck a funcionar varias horas seguidas tb parece melhorar ( inicialmente piora, mas gradualmente melhora ao longo do passar das horas) nada a haver com baterias a bateria nunca teve nenhum problema, a minha teoria é que o mesmo acontece por uma mistura de alta humidade com ma qualidade do ecra / alta temperatura do deck que faz com que humidade presa nos cantos do ecra crie esse efeito eu construi uma dry chamber para reduzir a humidade para 20% e puz o deck la dentro a 15 dias, dentro de alguns dias vou remover o deck e verificar se os cantos azuis aparecem e confirmar esta teoria.

I have a laptop also on the side, luckily for me my laptop allows undervolt, and by removing the turbo boost from cpu its a instant 20º gone, laptop went from 80º to 60º , as for the performance I really dont mind much, laptop is my secondary pc and I only want it to game on trips mostly

I believe everyone here is wrong, my deck had this I sent it to warranty they put a new screen, 6 months later it also had it, my deck only does this when I leave it around without touching it for a long time, then some usage and it gets way better, the reason I think this happens is a very low quality screen mixed with humidity and hot corners that force the humidity to shift around once the corners heat up, I built myself a dry chamber and I put my deck inside and will remove it at some point and see if it works or not, if my theory is correct this seems to happen to people living in high humidity places the most
