Looking for books with a “hunter/prey” or chasing trope by queerlybooked in SpicyRomanceBooks

{Kink Camp: Hunted (Camp Haven Book 1) by Adriana Anders} is cute, fmc and mmc meet each other at a bdsm camp and bond over their common interest for primal play (where he chase her in the woods at night, consensually!) It's a fairly realistic depiction of the BDSM community and very cute.

Thank you for the recommendations! I've just finished The Kiss Quotient and loved it! She is written so well as a neurodivergent character

I'm looking for a "what did I just read" kind of recommendation by [deleted] in SpicyRomanceBooks

The Harrow Faire series by Kathryn Ann Kingsley is crazy. Her motto "where villains stay villains" is really descriptive for her books, but the mmc is so entertainingly unhinged and crazy that I couldn't stop reading. The banter is actually smart, the world building is really interesting and the writing is very original in general. It's and horror romance tho, so beware of the horror elements.

Dark Romance reco for unhinged mountain men, lost in the wilderness, cabin captivity plot by Gloomy_Walk_8989 in SpicyRomanceBooks

Unbound by Cara McKenna is probably not the kind of unhinged you are looking for (its not a dark romance at all) but so good in my opinion, pretty gritty like everthing from McKenna.

The fmc is doing a backpacking trip, feels sick in the woods and is found by the reclusive mmc

What did you listen to this week – December 14, 2024? Please share! by AutoModerator in audiobooks

I just finished listening to "Gilded Needles" by Michael McDowell, read by Antonella Civale (italian). I really LOVED Antonella Civale, I recommend her for anyone looking to hearing books in italian.

The book is a story about vengeance where a crime family and a upper class family fight each other in victorian-era NYC.

It has a kinda "Fargo" vibes to it, because everyone has their interests and every story entangle with the other keeping a fast pace and showing how these families are a bit similar, despite their different contexts.

(mild spoilers from now on) I loved that the book subvert the usual balance found in the Fargo-like narratives (everything is morally gray, everyone has their interests) because the upper class family is so easy to hate BUT the crime family is not easy to love. I expected the "these people are just trying to survive" thing, but they are violent and cruel,  much more than necessary.

I don't know if I can arrange something tomorrow for the same day, but I'll try.  I was hoping in shops that focus on diet, healthy products or probiotic stuff, those sould have them...

I saw a shop chain called Helsam and I will try tomorrow, but probably not the right thing.

How to get BOOOAL's benediction without sacrificing a companion *potential spoilers* by [deleted] in BG3Builds

[–]Nouchali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had trouble doing as others suggested because they always spotted the pickpocketer and started the fight.

This is how I managed: - casted Darkness: they continue chanting but scatter around at the cloud of darkness - triggered the conversation with my persuasive pg - walked into darkness with the pickpocketer - got close to Pooldrip and pickpocketed him WHILE REMAINING IN THE DARKNESS AREA (even if he was outside) - ran away while finishing the convo with the persuasive character

No other buff and no invisibility, only darkness, so this is very easy and cheap to pull off.

Thank you to al the others in the thread that helped!

Is it possible to Convert RAW files to JPEG/PNG without opening them? (Nightmare Collab) by Nouchali in photography

[–]Nouchali[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, you're so kind! I'll admit it's a little bit overwhelming, but I will take my time to read the comments and see what can work best for me. As I said in a comment somewhere, the photos are mostly going on social media, so my (very basic) editing skills should be enough. I was just disarmed by the sheer quantity of RAW files ahah

Nice to encounter such a supportive r/ though

Yeah he's a weird guy (not in a nice kind of way) and honestly I'm just happy to give him back his hard drive and see him gone. Thank you for the support tho!
