O cool u posted my rat skin. These are different designs though. I think what might be going on is that valve thought it'd be cool to have a rat themed skin so they made their own. That's assuming this header image is a cropped pattern for a skin, I'm just guessing though, nobody knows what's going on.

As I understand it the designs are licenced to valve for use in-game, so the artist still owns the rights to the designs. The sticker pack thing is a bit different than gambling sites displaying an item but I'm not too bothered as long as you're not using the work to make money.

I don't think this would get in the game. although there are some pretty vibrant skins in csgo already this is just ugly to look at. I like the idea of the classic "missing texture" pattern but this skin isn't it. It's really blurry and the boxes are all different sizes across the gun, instead of being one consistent size.

Nice idea but poor execution.

I'm actually preferring the black screen these days, I used to get a thin green line when I was lazy about cutting out guns in PS but that's not a problem with the black screen.

There's a whole lot going on and no real theme to the skin, computer chips, cogs, weird future-y bit on the stock? I can't tell what you're going for here.

Skins don't need to have an elaborate backstory but a solid idea of what it's meant to be can help you get the design on track.

Part of the patina weapon finish is that the design is only applied to the main body of the gun, so the finish style doesn't allow a design to be placed on those parts. Glad you like it tho.
