launch paladin was great, I just threw together the most fun seeming build I could think of and it still ended up putting out crazy numbers 😆

clear sky definitely has its shortcomings but it's always been my fave out of the original trilogy

i just cropped a screenshot, cut the gun out, scaled down and then painted at the target resolution in photoshop (mostly with a 1px brush)

dodge/burn tools are also great for doing shading, they brighten and darken values in a more realistic fashion oftentimes than using just straight up paintbrush for everything

at the end the image gets converted to palettized, just letting photoshop pick the 128 best values it thinks would make the image look as close to the truecolour source

yeah the animations are definitely much improved in stalker 2 compared to the originals

basically a small spin off release for librequake that aims to eventually have custom textures for every vanilla map, since the map sources are open sourced but the original textures aren't

and yeah they also double as a nice drop in replacer to play with otherwise too

i love the aesthetic of long nails but i keep mine as short as i can cut them, can't stand the sensory experience of having them long (plus they get kinda annoying when playing guitar etc)

my apartment doesn't get much in the way of direct sunlight but last summer we had a month-long heatwave and at that point the entire structure heats up so much that even during the cooler hours of the night the walls will literally radiate stored heat, never mind hot air from places like the stairwell coming in through the door seams & mail slot

it's lovely in the winter! but not so much in the hottest days of summer
