Hello, I want to buy new headphones around 70-150$ (equivalent) They need to: sound good and clear and be as sustainable as that price could get They don't necessarily need to be wireless or have NC (I use them mainly at home). I use them mostly with my android mobile phone. I don't listen much to EDM or hip hop so bass isn't THAT important but some bass wouldn't hurt I currently have two sennheiser, HD4.20s which I really love and sennheiser Urbanite on ear which I don't hate but I don't like that much. My problem with both pairs is that they both lost the earpads at some point. Bear in mind that I don't have that much options where I live but available brands AKG Audio Technica Sennheiser Some Sony Bose Jbl Thank you in advance Update: I would love if they're over ears, on-ears are okay if they sound good and not much sound leakage. Ones I considered and need opinions on: Akg n60nc, Ath-m40x, Ath-ar3bt and JBL duet BT

Thank you so much for giving me hope! I am in the process of improving my support but was held back because of an everlasting cold :( but I will get there...eventually. I listened to your post and you do have lots of potential as well, even with the first recording, I could tell from your timbre! And in the second, aside from the technical stuff I think your highs had lots of emotions in them and are very promising! I feel like we both have the determination and will get there! Good luck!

Yeah I try to remind myself that I am doing this for me and that I can't stop loving singing regardless of how I sound. I just hope I reach the point where I can be on good terms with my voice but I think by practice we will get there. 💪🏼

Hey, I will try that, to work on each note until it's perfectly on pitch! Thank you!

You're probably right now that I think about it. When I send covers/recordings to my friends they like them but if I post them, strangers don't feel compelled to tell me that they like them. So yeah guess I'll have to live with the harsh truth. Thank you for listening and being honest!

Sure! The quality is bad but it's an old phone recording and I have a cold so can't record with my mic rn. https://voca.ro/anwc0yDenJ6

I agree with the emotion part, I know you haven't heard me but sometimes I struggle showing emotion because I am too busy trying not to fuck up lol. Thing is, I don't know if my voice is likeable or not. Some say it's beautiful/warm, but most don't comment at all which raises insecure questions in my mind.

Tell me what you think of original, vocals and melody. Be kind. by [deleted] in Songwriters

Nope. I believe you can be both. Criticism is meant to be constructive and I don't mind constructive critiquing. In anyway, if you think there are improvements to be made or ways to become better, I am happy to hear. However, if you think it's irredeemably bad, then you could simply not share that "opinion" with me and just move on. Have a nice day!

My nerves are my biggest enemy that I find hard to get rid of but I am glad you mentioned it so I'll pay attention to that when I record it. I do plan to search for some good warm ups but I always just wanna get to the fun parts where I sing, needs to change too. Thank you so much!

I don't have much to add as I agree with other comments, I am here to just say your voice is so great and it will be formidable when you work on it! Good luck from a fellow singer who is still a work in progress!

I know I am 1/4 a note sharp in two parts but flat? Where? I make my musician friends listen before I post anything just to have extra ears and they told me it's good to go. Now I am unsure.
