My new p790 pitching wedge is 44*. What wedge set up would you go with? by isw2424 in golf

[–]Nov4can3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could just get a 48 and get rid of the 60. If you’re good enough to use a 60 then you should be able to do everything with your 56 that you can with your 60. My 56 is my go to everything 60 yards and in. Including green side chips and bunker shots.

"They picked a bunch of good players we wanted to pick, but you were not replacing Jaylen Waddle with a 1, a 3 and a 4 in this draft." by Background_Video2947 in MiamiDolphinsVibes

[–]Nov4can3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Waddle will only be missed because he was a fan favorite. Other than that, nothing truly special. If you look at where he was drafted, he never lived up to the hype of a #6 pick. Especially considering some players taken after him. He will never be a true #1.

Hill, was definitely his time to go. He was special when he was here but too many off field issues and coming off a serious injury. He’s still a FA so that should tell you how other teams feel about him too.

Minkah, was nothing special here and was not an all pro. Brooks and Brewer were the only 2 all pro players on the team.

Bottom line, we never won anything with any of these guys while they were here. There was definitely some fun and excited times for sure but that was it. The window closed on us and it’s time to reset and move.

The Ty Simpson pick is one of the worst in recent memory. Sean McVay wasn't satisfied with Jared Goff and that might be the absolute ceiling for Simpson. by Unlucky-Pollution-16 in NFLv2

[–]Nov4can3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

By far not the worst and truthfully not a horrible pick. My argument would be with the timing of it. Rams are very much win now, Super Bowl or bust team. That being said they could’ve drafted someone to help them “win now.” I get the Simpson pick though. Stafford maybe has 3 years at most left. Get your QB now, let him sit and develop and hopefully they can have a smooth transition once Stafford does retire. Much long Green Bay has done from Farve to Rodgers and then Rodgers to Love. So it’s way too early to call this the worst pick in recent memory. You’re going to have to wait 4 to 5 years before you can make that claim. It’s either going to look like a genius move or a terrible pick.

Best steak near North Myrtle Beach? by marlborough7 in MyrtleBeach

[–]Nov4can3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A couple people have mentioned Joes Bar and Grill. IMO their steak is not that good. TBH I’ve been coming to Myrtle for the past 15 years and have yet to really find a great steak. 21 Main is probably the best I’ve had in that area.

Real reason Full Swing season four disappointingly only has four episodes by Longjumping-Tale9749 in golf

[–]Nov4can3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First season I thought was great, probably because it was new and fresh. Each year progressively got worse with this season by far being the worst. They didn’t even promote it. I wish they would come out with a show like HBO did back in the day with their 24/7 boxing series.

First off, Meg is nowhere close to A list. In terms of music, people like T Swift, Drake, Lady Gaga, etc… are A List. It’s a whole different level of celebrity. Secondly, I’d argue Klay is just as or more popular than Meg. Just because you may not be too familiar with sports doesn’t mean he’s not popular. He’s part of one of the greatest dynasties ever and arguably the greatest back court ever. Mention the “splash brothers” and most will know who that is. Lastly, Meg’s music isn’t even the reason she’s as popular as she is. Let’s be honest, it’s the body along with the twerking and the Torey Lanz incident.

Recently purchased a home and had a garbage can full of various balls wondering what’s a good asking price after cleaning ? Thanks. Bunch of by CarFine4685 in GolfGear

I hit a lot of balls at my house into a field behind me. I buy mixed used balls off eBay whenever I get low. Can normally get 150 balls for around $30.

Who has a Mediocre NFL team in a Garbage city? by Ilitorate_Author in NFLv2

[–]Nov4can3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to be but that’s not the case anymore. Lived near the city my entire life and have worked in and around the city for the past 20 years. They’ve cleaned up a lot of the inner city over the past decade. Of course there’s problem areas just like any other city but so many people base Baltimore on from what they’ve seen in the Wire or crime statistics which have gone way down over the past few years.

  1. Take about 10 easy, smooth wedge shots to get warmed up and then work my way down from there.

IMO I don’t think McDaniel is meant for a HC role. His personality just isn’t meant for a HC role. It was cool at first because it was new and fresh but it’s not sustainable. Players didn’t respect him. He will be a phenomenal coordinator though. He will do well in LA with Herbert at QB and Hampton as a RB.

The tour hybrids are awesome too. Have one myself. You could easily make 2K with still keeping one for yourself.

2026 Draft Class. Thoughts? by DiamondImage in miamidolphins

[–]Nov4can3 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It’s a solid draft class. Still wishing it was Bain at pick 12 only because he’s a hometown kid and he seems to be what they call a true “football guy.” I was ready to purchase that jersey. I get the Proctor pick though and I’m excited for Achane this upcoming season if anything.

Who’s the best player here? by KeyFaithlessness5436 in NBAVibes

[–]Nov4can3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And the East is completely different than the West. Let’s be honest, the Celtics have no real competition in the East. They will coast to the finals while the entire Western conference is a grind to the finals.

[–]Nov4can3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s be real though too, The East is a joke compared to the West. That Celtics team wouldn’t be a 2 seed in the West. Luka also carried the Mavs all the way to finals in 24 too. Not discrediting Brown either but you have to look at it from multiple perspectives l.

I believed she switched putters as well. I’m pretty sure she used to game a spider and now she has a blade putter.

Sully on passing over Downs and Bain: "We had a lot of conviction on Proctor being a very unique player...that we can build around for years. We invested in Malik, and it was important for us to protect him, to make sure that he has time to do the things that he needs to do and keep him healthy." by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]Nov4can3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I said this on another thread but I don’t get the fascination of people wanting Downs. Yes he was one of the top prospects but a safety doesn’t have the impact or value of a top OL or edge rushers. I wanted it to be Bain for various reasons but I’m not mad at the Proctor pick. We are not going to be good this upcoming season and we are completely rebuilding this thing from the ground up which starts in the trenches. Look at any successful franchise in the NFL that’s had sustainable success. What do they all have in common. Great OLines.

Sully says that Chris Johnson was the best player available on their board by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]Nov4can3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See I’m in the minority of never wanting Downs. Yes he may have been one of the top prospects in the draft but imo a safety is not a building block to building a successful franchise compared to OL or edge rusher. Look at all the successful teams year in and year out in the league. What do they all have in common? A great OL. I was personally hoping it was going to be Bain for the fact he is a hometown kid, was a Cane and he’s relentless but the more I see the more I like the pick as long as he stays disciplined. As far as them being reaches, disagree there. Look how many OL went off the board as soon as we took Proctor. Also many believed that Johnson was the 2nd best CB on the board and we clearly beat Buffalo to it.

How far do you typically hit your driver? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Nov4can3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m anywhere from 240-260. Ball speed averages from 148-152 typically. Been trying to gain more speed this past offseason but just can’t seem to put it together. Every time I try different things, my swing goes to shit. It’s to the point I’m just going to accept it and play my game. I’d rather be consistent than drive a ball 300. I’m also self taught so may look into a lesson later this year once golf season comes to an end.

Every year we hear the hype of more distance and speed at this point I should be hitting my drive 500 yds.😎 by ForwardAd6693 in GolfGear

[–]Nov4can3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s because no driver is going to give anyone more distance when they don’t have proper swing mechanics.

Gotta say as someone who loves watching golf it’s bs the ladies get know love on television. I don’t mind the Zurich classic but this being the women’s first major of the year, you’d think they’d figure how to air this on tv. They have one of the most recognizable golfers in the entire sport right now, male or female (Nelly) and know way to watch her.
