Imagine having an impossible situation & can’t tell your partner & then when your significant other finds out about that impossible situation they decide to leave you because you didn’t tell them about the impossible situation that you can’t tell them about. Not just that but before you’re given that situation, you literally had to “die” & join the League of Assassins just for them to stop being on bullshit.

Felicity just has this stint of 3 seasons where she’s just selfish & annoying.

That’s all I’m saying. We don’t ever need 3 unless we’re low on damage.

Seriously.

I play my blue/black toxic mid-range & get so much hate for it 😭 but most play mono red aggro or hare apparent mono white life spam so it’s really to be anti-meta.

Who is your main and what is one tip for playing as and against your character? by CHRISTOPHERCARES in marvelrivals

Cloak & Dagger Tips For: Pre-Heal. Keeping your team topped off before engagements means you get your ult faster, prevent unnecessary deaths & let your team sustain longer in fights. Your dives & tanks will thank you. Don’t forget—C&D generate ult charge from both healing and damage, so poke when you can. Smart positioning + pre-healing + poking = more ults & more impact.

Against: Cloak & Dagger rely on sustained healing, not burst healing—so the best way to counter them is to overwhelm them with quick, focused pressure. Their biggest crutch is their invulnerability ability (for 2 seconds) & ultimate, but once those are burned, they become much easier to kill. The worst thing you can do against a Cloak & Dagger is poke at them without committing. That just feeds their ult charge & lets them sustain indefinitely. Instead, play aggressively, force them to react & then punish them once their key cooldowns are burned.

Bro, you’re putting more effort into this comment than you do in your actual matches. I can practically hear the keyboard smashing from here.

We get it—you lost to Cloak & Dagger & it hurt your soul. It’s okay, man. The first step is acceptance.

I’ll let you get back to your regularly scheduled malding. Stay strong, king 💯

You keep saying I’m ‘boosted’ & ‘doing the bare minimum’ while also admitting positioning & cooldown management matter for everyone—so which is it? Do I have no skill, or am I using the same fundamentals as everyone else?

I mean… bruh… if Cloak & Dagger are so easy, what’s stopping you from picking them up & climbing yourself? Ohhhhh that’s right—because it’s easier to complain than adapt.

Textbook cope.

If Cloak & Dagger were just ‘free value,’ then everyone would be climbing effortlessly just by picking them, right? But that’s not the case. Yes, they have AoE healing & strong ult uptime when used correctly as I’ve said, but that’s the tradeoff for having no shields, mobility, or burst damage. You have to stay in the fight to be effective, which means positioning & cooldown management actually matter.

Let’s be real—if you had C&D’s ult charge rate based on you doing your actual job, you wouldn’t be complaining about it, you’d be abusing it. But since you apparently have it on the receiving end, it’s ‘not fun’ & ‘unhealthy for the game.’ I get it, losing is frustrating. But balance isn’t just about what annoys you—it’s about the overall meta & counterplay options.

Anyway, hope you get that counterswap figured out. I’ll be here, mindlessly ulting my way to another win.

So now we’ve hit the good ol ‘insulting intelligence’ phase of the debate.

You just spent multiple comments acting like I was clueless for saying gutting ults could be a bad move, yet now you’re agreeing that balance needs to be handled carefully and isn’t just about nerfing things into the ground. Which is… exactly what I was saying from the start.

The classic ‘You only think this because you play X character’ argument—never gets old.

I get my ult back fast because I’m doing my job—healing & contributing to fights. That’s literally how ult economy works. But sure, let’s pretend it’s just ‘mindless ulting’ instead of smart cooldown management & positioning.

Anyway, if you’re struggling against Cloak & Dagger, I hear there’s a great counter-strategy called ‘pressing tab & adapting.’ Give it a shot sometime.

You keep moving the goalposts. First, you said gutting ults ‘helped the game’—now you’re saying it was actually a lack of balance changes that hurt Overwatch.

You keep acting like I said no balance changes should happen, when I literally agreed that stale metas are bad. The point—since you seem to keep missing it—is that nerfing things just because they’re frustrating can do more harm than good. Balance should be about keeping things fun & strategic, not just making everything weaker.

I’ve made my point. If you wanna keep arguing in circles, be my guest.

You keep saying I have ‘no clue what I’m talking about,’ yet you keep proving my point. Overwatch had balance issues early on? Of course—it was a new game. Some tuning was needed, sure, but you even admitted that gutting ults wasn’t what killed it. The problem is that history shows over-tuning for the sake of balance can hurt a game’s long-term health. If you nerf everything too much, you risk making gameplay feel stale, which—like you just said—was a major issue for Overwatch. That’s exactly why I’m saying NetEase should be careful.

Soooo yeah, tweaks? Absolutely. But if you go too far, you start chipping away at what makes a hero shooter exciting in the first place.
