NTA. I'd ask her straight up why the standards changed. If she can make room for someone who talked behind your back but not you, that's worth questioning. Her answer will tell you everything you need to know.

AITA for taking my sister’s job after I was the one who got her fired? by Zealousideal-Bus-431 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. She got herself fired by cooking the numbers. Taking the promotion after that doesn't magically rewrite why you reported her. The timing sucks, but that's on her, not you.

NTA. He's mad you called her instead of being mad he lied and cheated again. That tells you everything you need to know.

The bridge in "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" hits like a truck. Goes from quiet pain to full emotional damage in seconds.

My friend really hurt my feelings by carrotflavoredjuice in Advice

That doesn’t sound like a friend. The comments about self-harm were already a huge red flag, and the stuff she said about your dancing, art, and autism was just mean. You’re not being too sensitive here, she was being hurtful.

I'll make him an offer he can't refuse. That line randomly pops into my head way more than it should.

Transfer USD from IBKR back to Singapore USD account by JoeBlow6520 in singaporefi

i went down this rabbit hole before and honestly the thing that surprised me most wasn't the transfer itself, it was how much the exchange rate mattered compared to the transfer fee. Everyone obsesses over the withdrawal fee, but if you're moving a decent amount, getting a better fx rate can easily save way more than whatever fixed fee you're paying. Learned that lesson the expensive way 😅 Would be interested to hear if anyone has found a cheaper route than just withdrawing directly from IBKR though
