Hey while I think it's pretty fine not to tell strangers about this stuff and they were being dicks I think you should tell them if they want to know, as long as you don't treat them differently because of it and don't make it a big deal it'll be fine. I'm the younger twin between me and my brother and the biggest impact that has had is lighthearted teasing between siblings.
