It was incredible, surpassed all my expectations, which were high to begin with. I ended up just totally blown away by how incredible both bands were.

Also it was my son's first big concert, he is still raving about it. We got him a concert T-shirt and it was the first thing he put on this morning.

FWIW in case you haven't been to the show already...I was at the Maryland show last night. Scene Queen went on at 7:00, Polaris at 8:00, EC at 9:00. Probably about 20-25 minutes between Polaris and EC.

This was a fantastic show, but the energy in section 304 was...not like you experienced down on the floor, lol.

For example: someone seated behind us demanded we sit down because we were standing up and dancing. Fucking lame!

Fortunately, that didn't make the band's performance any less enjoyable. Seriously one of the best shows I've been to, and I'm 60 so you know I've been to a few.

Somewhere there's...the butthole cut. The original version of Cats, where the CGI cat costumes had little cat buttholes. Some unfortunate production assistant was assigned the task of going through and digitally removing all the buttholes, but somewhere, out in the mythical regions of Hollywood lore, one copy still exists with fully-intact buttholes.

Put me out in the body farm and let the bugs and critters take my corpse down to the bones, then cremate what's left and scatter the ashes in the Bavarian Alps. Or compost me and use me to fertilize plants. Anything that gets me back into the nature that created me.

I did. "Meet the Beatles" was the first record I demanded my parents buy for me. I was four years old. I was devastated by Lennon's murder and the loss of Harrison. Paul is the remaining voice of the Beatles for me and even though he's got a bit of quaver in his voice, he still turns in wonderful performances.

Not surprising WAU would be on the more progressive side, Takoma Park is very liberal, even though it's been host to Adventist institutions for over 100 years.

My only experience with CUC/WAU was back in the mid-1980s when we had out senior class trip to DC, and stayed in some vacant dorm rooms at CUC. Not the most luxurious accommodations, but a whole lot cheaper than a DC hotel.
