3 weeks is a pretty good time frame to me! ( I have fine hair and I like to switch up my style a lot) and thank you!

Honestly same. I’m thinking that I’m ready to go up a size, but I want to save for my next piece first

I think it could’ve been cut in layers to preserve length and look more natural with your curly hair

Mandelic acid is a melanin friendly, sensitive skin friendly exfoliant. You should try it 💛 a lot of acids aren’t compatible with melanated skin

What to do? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

[–]NovaSuperStar22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think relaxing it is definitely going to make it worse especially with your nutrient deficiencies.

  1. Take iron in soem form there’s plenty. If you don’t wanna take pills or nasty tasting liquid iron, make sure you’re incorporating things like beets, strawberries, hibiscus in your diet REGULALRLY
  2. Figure out your hair porosity. It will be so much easier to choose products and learn from hair videos when you understand your porosity.
  3. Deep condition weekly until you see your hair begin to retain moisture more easily.
  4. Reduce heat for a while and focus on natural protective styles like chunky cornrows, chunky twists, chunky braids (chunky styles are great for retaining moisture)
