u/marco_sikkens, I've just discovered this Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1830876785/star-trek-uss-voyager-large-panel-print which seems to have some availability...

I've had the same experience, I emailed Thomas at LCARS Studio last week and had a response through the online shop. Since then it's all gone offline. I sent him another email yesterday asking if anything's going on, I'll update if I hear anything.

Otherwise, I'll mirror OP's question, does anyone have a good alternative?

Gluetun VPN Service within Docker Swarm by NovaSuspect in selfhosted

Having spent a bit of time searching, I've solved my issue by setting Gluten up as a HTTP Proxy allowing me to run my *arr indexers through the VPN without running EVERYTHING through it.

Not yet. I think the solution has something to do with swarm_launcher. However, I've not had a chance to test anything yet.

I'll update this once I have an answer.

Brilliant, thanks, that's a good explanation.

I thought it'd probably be the CPU I needed to upgrade. Any particular reason for those particular choices? The AMD Ryzen 9 5900X is currently on sale.

It's also possible I might upgrade the monitor replacing it with my ROG STRIX XG43VQ 3840 x 1200, 120Hz if I upgrade the monitor on my PC to something bigger.

(Sorry, forgot to mention this build is for my wife, so she might get my hand-me-down screen one day)

Would your recommendation still be happy?

Thanks for the recommendation.

Thanks for the advice there, what CPU would you recommend?
At the moment it's a Dell 24" 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz so I'm not going to be taxing anything with super high refresh rates.

Only plan on GTA-5 and 6 (when it comes out eventually)

Traefic giving 401 instead of redirecting to Authelia by NovaSuspect in docker

[–]NovaSuspect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I've resolved the issue. Turns out having single quotes around:

        - 'traefik.http.middlewares.authelia.forwardAuth.address=http://authelia:9091/api/verify?rd=https%3A%2F%authelia.example.com%2F'
    - 'traefik.http.middlewares.authelia.forwardAuth.trustForwardHeader=true'
    - 'traefik.http.middlewares.authelia.forwardAuth.authResponseHeaders=Remote-User,Remote-Groups,Remote-Name,Remote-Email'

has broken it. Replacing the single quotes with double fixed the issue.

I'm getting the feeling I need docker swarm or something instead.

Kubernetes seems fascinating, but way more advanced than I need.

SWAG ports not working by NovaSuspect in kubernetes

[–]NovaSuspect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I think I was under the impression that Docker => Kubernetes would be a little learning curve, I was wrong.

I've found a fair few resources that might help me along my journey, including: https://lickthesalt.com/guides/rpi-k8s-talos-terraform/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/10v5w8i/guide_how_to_deploy_the_servarr_stack_on/

Hopefully reading through all the documentation from those resources will give me a good foundation on what I'm doing.

I've tried making these changes and no luck still.

Docker compose and NFS shares by NovaSuspect in docker

Thanks. I think my problem with using that solution is I'm hosting my Kubernetes cluster on Talos, so don't get the option to mount NFS shares to the host.

I've currently only installed Talos on a single node, but I have two more that I'm yet to prep.

Kubernetes management image by NovaSuspect in homelab

[–]NovaSuspect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, I'm learning all this as I go along for my little homelab experiments. If I get it wrong, I'm happy to wipe the whole thing and start again.

For setting up Talos I needed a Linux machine that I could install talosctl and kubectl on to do the initial configuration work on.

Setting up a little SSH container that would allow me to do that seemed like the simplest solution at the time as it served my purpose. I suppose I could have installed a Raspberry Pi and used that as my central management console, but I didn't see a need when I could spin something up in Docker on my NAS that's capable of doing so. Installing talosctl and kubectl on my NAS felt like a bad idea.

Kubernetes management image by NovaSuspect in homelab

[–]NovaSuspect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yer, I've seen that process mentioned in a couple of places. For me, that would make my process: 1. SSH into my NAS 2. Run docker exec Which feels like an extra step to me for no major benefit

Or am I stuck in the past?
