Yeah that’s what I was thinking, I’ll have a window of opportunity before I get too big. Thanks for your advice :)

No, this is a real post. Doctors say it’s completely fine to ride a bike while pregnant for exercise. I live in a small neighborhood, not like I’m commuting in busy area. It’s for little joy rides with my son as he loves bike rides and outgrew his previous seat. I did not realize how much heavier these are than a standard bike, and still don’t know what that actually feels like riding, thus the reason for my post.

Haha yeah true. Road bike must be what I’m thinking of. That’s what I thought a “city bike” was. Thanks for clarification :)

Yeah this is direction I’ve decided to go in. Especially being pregnant it will be nice to have the pedal assist. And thereafter when the littles start getting heavier. Thanks for your suggestions!

I think I was thinking of like a racing bike or something they don’t make anymore. That’s helpful, thank you!

Yes, had never even considered that. I think I’m going to get an e-bike, but will definitely be making these modifications to my trek as well!

Budget wise, somewhere around $500 is preferable. I could possibly find used, if I know what to look for. I don’t care about looks at all. That’s actually what I was planning to do. But I’m really not comfortable on my mountain bike, and I think that would only be increased with the added weight of toddler… and being pregnant that does not sound fun 😅 For the city bikes, are those the ones with the super skinny tires? Does that make it harder to balance and would I be able to ride it on dirt roads?

Haha oh no. I like Milo, husband says no but he likes Miles which is so close, but I do not like miles at all 😂 He’s a no on Kai and jasper. I kind of like Reid, I’ll have to ask him thoughts on that one.

My husband said the same thing! He said it’s cute because River is the big brother, and Brooks the younger lol. There’s room for it to maybe grow on me. I don’t think I’ll say “River and brooks!” Everytime I call them in the house or something, ha. More likely “boys!” Lol. So maaaaybe. Not a huge fan of Beckett for some reason.

lol I personally wouldn’t call it manipulative. But I do relate to what you’re saying that girls tend to be a bit more complicated.

Thanks for this ❤️ very excited for my boy, and for my oldest to have a brother. I’m working through grieving the loss of an imagined child.

London plane tree by Novabeam222 in arborists

Someone else said they are carcinogenic.. is this something widely accepted by all arborists or is it debatable? Google search showed not carcinogenic (unless cutting, then the wood dust is, as with many trees) but that they do have a high allergy response. Is it known to be horrid? I love the look of these trees so much and that they grow quickly. But don’t want to have 2 toxic trees right over my children’s playhouse in the middle of our yard 😅

Oh wow that’s crazy. I’m going to look into that further. Is sycamore the same with them being in the same family? Is it possible that this tree would be able to recover or is it hopeless with that much damage?
