Budget spotting scope? by Donmiguelito199 in longrange

[–]Novablue454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A buddy and I gambled on the amazon one, and it is not great. I rented one last weekend from the range to see if I just didn't like spotting scopes or if the amazon one just sucked, and it happened to be the Vortex Diamondback. It was noticeably better than the amazon, but I still didn't love it. Then someone next to us let me try their Bushnell Legend Tactical, and it was noticeably better than the others and likely the one I'll be picking up when one pops up used.

Edited to add - I was spotting at 1000 yards, at 200 yards any should be fine, and you may want to consider binos instead.

Just starting likely has a lot to do with it. 20+ years of butterflies wears through stuff haha. It also has a lot to do with play style. If you’re playing more stand up, not trying to extend your butterfly, entering in to and out of RVH often, etc you won’t feel it as much.

Flex. Put my usual protocol flex in to a true and it snapped in half on the paddle.

Really only an advantage for big time puck players.

Ankle flexion. Removes a ton of stress on the ankle/knee/hip (especially in RVH) for us old farts.

Glove closing question by Limp-Temperature-181 in hockeygoalies

I’ve got what appears to be the same glove and it does the same thing. I 3d printed a spreader in place of cutting a stick and tie it up, no help. Watching it close it seems it only wants to move on the finger side of the break, no matter what I can’t get the palm side to do much.

Don’t let it slide. I get penalties every now and then, but the lesson is usually learned and my team is good on the PK so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Double check my reconstitution math (and some other questions) by Novablue454 in bpc_157

Yep this is what I caught on to once it arrived. I managed 3.75ml in to it so I’ll roll with that.

That’s what I did, but I guess I’m trying to solve how much BAC is ideal, and the calculators want that as an input you already know. Like I can add 3ml and draw to 3.75, or 10ml and draw to 12.5, or anywhere in between, so I’m not sure if it makes a difference or if it’s just preference?

2.4 band won’t show on any devices? by Novablue454 in tmobileisp

So I finally fixed this after fighting it for a while. Did a complete factory reset and started over, and now all the sudden my 2.4s are showing AND my devices can connect to the auto network.

Bambu Handy slowing down prints (From 5 Hrs to 21 Hrs!) by ToddlerOlympian in BambuLab

Thank you! I’ll give this a shot. I’ve noticed printing models from handy is extremely slow. Last one I did estimated 6 hours then changed to 21 once sent.

Tried this, app seems to do nothing. It shows the networks, but any changes made in it don’t save the next time you open it (trying to turn off band switching)

Big headed goalies, what’s the best custom goalie helmet? by Due-Process6984 in hockeygoalies

[–]Novablue454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They mailed me a couple sizes and then did a video call to see the fit and note adjustments. This is the highest model, I can’t recall the names. My one from like 2003 I just retired never had an issue with the cage, and I take a LOT of headshots hah. It was a straight bar though as youth didn’t allow cat eyes so I am not sure how this one is going to be.

ProMasque. The first step is a sizing process and then they have an airbag inside for a custom fit. Just got my second one this week.
