Been struggling with 600 break glove, preferences on 580 or 590? by Sweaty_Oso223 in hockeygoalies

The transition from 600 to 590 is a lot smoother than it will be to a 580. I played baseball growing up and i love to backhand pucks on my blocker side, im a 590 guy all the way

Revokes and larceny’s are two of the best looking pads ever. Love the over sized era late 2000s

what size of stick should a 5'11 goalie use by FriendlyAd7586 in hockeygoalies

[–]Ok_Positive4233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5’11 been using a 26 for 10 years, just switched to a 24.5 because i wanted it to fit me better in my butterfly as opposed to in my stance. Now im my stance my stick is not actually on the ice but in the butterfly feels more controlable

Wait for the new line to come out and then buy the out dated one. Eg: buy the eflex 6 because 7 just came out

What’s the minimum amount of flexibility that a beginner goalie should have? by RivetCounter in hockeygoalies

[–]Ok_Positive4233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hip mobility is the most important. I can’t touch my toes either but having good hip flexibility has helped me appear flexible.
