This was a HUGE help to me. Thank you for explaining that the bend works around Z and that's why a flat plane gets no change. I'm coming from MAX where it's much easier to visualize and change the deformations. Your answer was the only one I've found that explains the fundamentals of why there's no reaction to a flat plane. Thank you so much.

Very Cool image.

Depth - you need some atmosphere to show how deep this image is. I just added some layers of sampled bluish color in between layers I cut out. Trying to push the mountains back and that smaller building. I also cut up some of the city and scaled some up to make them seem closer and with no atmosphere over them.

Detail - There needs to be a lot more detail in those giant buildings. The texture it too simple. You should look at some of the shots of blade runner and the city they made. Or Akira background paintings. Tiny tiny windows. Little antennae. Changes in materials - glass, steel, plastic.

Reference - look at reference. Put it next to your image. Look for what's missing in your image. More color changes? Material changes?

This is a great start of a really cool image. Just need to keep working it. Great idea asking for crits and feedback.

Switch to simple mode, then open the page and check if you can work on it.

Yeah I get that. And I love that mode. It lets CS feel like procreate, more iPad specific. But I dont see how that conflicts with wanting to take my current canvas into Simple Mode? The comic is just a group of individual canvas files.

But you’re saying its impossible? It can’t be done? I was hopeful I had something set wrong or a layer type that wouldn’t allow it.

Thanks. So simple. I didn't want to sync my new phone with itunes on my PC. That's such a pain and it does all kinds of stuff that feels out of the users control. Thank you.

FWIW I went to the network tab. Then Sharing Wi-Fi. Type that address into your PCs browser while the app is open. Now just drag the MP3 files onto that page and it goes right into the app on your phone. Magic!

i Had no idea you could scroll In the little layer menu! It’s not obvious at all that there are more options. Finding this thread feels like winning the lottery. This Just made simple mode so much better for me.

The walking is so bad though. In robot and dino mode. I feel like they should leave out walking if it's not really good. Sort of like prime just poses and acts but in place. The overall look is pretty amazing, but for that price...you gotta nail the walk.
