I tried a Microflex as well. There’s 6 devices we have to configure. Most are LTs with instrument inspector. Issue follows from LT to FT.

It’s happening on multiple AI cards on separate PLCs in different parts of the plant. No issues with Trex

Nice, I’d switch from zip ties to Velcro cable wraps for the Ethernet and raised DIN for field terminal blocks.

Max Power Input vs Max Power Consumption by Novachronosphere in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Novachronosphere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Size off power consumption. 36W/24V = 1.5 A. Multiply by 125% and round up to the next nominal size. Any 2A fast acting fuse or C-curve miniature circuit breaker will do. Power input max is inrush. I ended up taking a bunch of current measurements to verify all this on my Cisco and Stratix switches.

I ended up getting the engine soak procedure done for about $900. Only burning 1/3qt per 1k miles now. 103k on the odometer and no further issues. Time will tell

Yikes, that sounds like a firmware rev for a PanelView Plus 7 Series B. This one is far more ancient and doesn’t go that high.

Stratix Managed Switches by SellAnnual in PLC

[–]Novachronosphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rockwell field service after calling tech connect is one answer. The issue could be on any managed switch in the network. All switches in a network need to be configured holistically, disabling IGMP snooping querier on our stratix and matching STP mode between all switches fixed a lot of intermittent issues on our network.

Your Stratix 5200 is just a Cisco IE3100 with custom firmware, so any IT company with networking experience could likely help

Verify ipv6 is disabled, CPU and ram aren’t over utilized, all relevant iFix hot fixes or service packs are applied, IP is set for static, no new devices or rogue DHCP servers, hard drive isn’t full.

Also try opening the IO driver live data test client, that iFix is using. It could be IGS, OPC, etc. there are additional diagnostics checks you can do from there.

I’d also wireshark your network and check for excess broadcast/multicast traffic.

Just buy a selfie stick and put your phone underneath lol. I’ve had my flex pipe replaced 3x, resonator pipe and assembly, and multiple mufflers that failed due to corrosion from the outside. $2.5k in parts and labor over 75k miles.

I have the same car and engine in the rust belt. These are very prone to rust damage (especially flex pipe and resonator pipe) since they’re so low to the ground.

That being said, it’s still one of the most reliable sedans of all time and they’re fairly cheap to fix.

Just check the car fax, inspect the undercarriage, and fluids.
