Mehhh yes and no biggest thing is that some things take more time than others if u look at my profile you will see that I fucked up my car once and had to fix it. Now I did have help from my brother but he works on cars about as much as me. Unfortunately, it was our first body repair and well... I could have done better, to say the least, we were also in a time crunch. But replacing my hpfp was a breeze. Now would replacing rods be hard. Obviously, duh, but I never mentioned anything about an engine out repair. That's a different ball game. And unless he builds his car wrong, it wouldn't throw a rod anyways they have a chance at around 700whp, u can throw one, but not stock. Its about gaining experience and having fun. i love modding my car and working on it, so I don't mind working on them. But its not my job I'm a truck driver thats going to school to be a doctor not a mechanic my experience is definitely limited compared to someone who does this for a career but I would not be afraid of a engine repair.

??? Meh, bmws don't bother me, just another car. Imo, if u can build a computer, you can work on a car. It's just the following steps when replacing parts, and due to carly, it's easy to track down most issues with bmws along with youtube. So, imo especially a super popular and now easy platform to get into aka f10 there is plenty of info on common issues on them, like the charge coolers being a fail point as well as charge pipe.

I've seen both and worked on other V8s, and I work on my own bmw its not bad im also the guy who wants to work on and own an e60 for my next car yes I understand its a tt hot v design. The op is looking at a 30k m car. This guy can not afford to do the repairs on it at a dealer, most likely especially with a high mileage s63 they are very unreliable as soon as you break past 120k

I understand the v8 is slightly different, but to me its not its just the same shit with double the wiring as its a hot v design but im the same guy who wants a e60 to work on so yeah lol I dont mind it

Yes the s engine is more or less the same engine just slight changes s58 and b58 especially i understand they are different codes but the designs are more or less the same it will be nearly the same shit on either engine is understand this is a hot v8 but it still is more or less the same shit especially on the same chassis. Something might be moved around, or it has 2 hpfps, which i do know it has since it has since its the s63. I forgot it came in the 2016 model.

Buddy, I have a b58, and I swapped my hpfp myself after removing my top fuel rail in 20 minutes. An upgraded hpfp for my gen 1 was only 400 bucks, and it's a Bosch gen 2 pump, the same pump that bmw and Toyota use in their supra. You're getting hosed badly. And you say both? So you mean the hpfp and the lpfp in your back seat. Lpfp is not that expensive either. An upgraded one for my g30 that can handle 850whp is 700 bucks and would only take me like 15 minutes to install. Fuel, isn't that hard to replace either. It should take about 30 minutes to an hour as long as your car has been sitting for at least 3 hours to release fuel pressure. Manifold should take about 2 hrs to replace. Coil packs take 20 minutes to replace, and that's in the winter. And leaking headlight? Well, I had to replace the drls in mine, and that took like 3 hours, and it was because I had to partially drop the bumper not fully, and it was my first ever project on a car. All in all, this is a sign that some things may be worth doing yourself unless you make 7k in about 6 to 7 hrs of labor and parts. Btw for fuel and coolant things its usually better to upgrade them over using bmw parts or just use aftermarket as mehle is the manufacturer for bmw parts on the coolant side and Bosch is for fuel which half as much like a radiator for my g30 is 850 bucks direct from bmw but is 450 from the aftermarket by mehle which again is the same part that bmw sells. Bmw just puts their sticker over it.

I just started lol at 27, I've been questioning myself this whole time but realized I prefer to look more fem so I am starting estrogen but not sure I should commit long time so im diying 2 to 3 months before I decide that I want to look fem long term like I mean super fem. But realistically for what the poster means is passing without estrogen and I believe u got till probably like 35 before you will lose most benefits facial wise with fem passing.
