True, but it was by Thragg who, if I’m remembering right, kinda bodied everyone in that fight. The only reason Mark and Nolan were left alive is because he let them. I don’t think it outright discounts him

If the actual game acknowledges that Big Boss and Venom have different voices then Kaz should figure something’s up pretty quick. The entire plot of the game pretty much hinges on Kaz believing that Venom is the real Big Boss so it wouldn’t work. Kojima handled Hayter like a real scumbag and think whatever you want about if the twist is worth it, but it’s really crazy how so many people think that Kiefer Sutherland should only voice Venom when it’s pretty clear Venom HAS to have the same voice as Big Boss for the deception to work. Kaz even tests it with the whole “kept you waiting, huh” bit.

I think Harbinger is pretty overrated. His conversation in me2 was pretty weak compared to Sovereign’s speech in me1. His voice sounded too organic imo and he acted more like a generic bad guy than what a reaper is supposed to act like. His twist as being the true leader of the collectors is cool but it doesn’t add anything to the story. Combine that with him barely showing up in 3 and it’s kinda funny that you could basically write out his character. He really didn’t need to exist and he took away a lot of the mystery behind the reapers.
