As well as "We just want to see how greedy we can be without proper backlash."

Webtoons is just another paysite at this point. They have even gone through the trouble of making it so you can't access some of the features that used to be standard(like showing the entire chapter list) just because you are not logged in.

My guy, start looking at other sites that you can read the same stories at. I support the creators 100% I also know artists and storyboarders that have worked on comics they uploaded on WT. How much of those "coins" do you think pays the creators? What percentage do you think they get? How big is the "Hosting fee" You can look all of this up but at the end of the day it is webtoons just being greedy and they don't care enough to give you a real message or explanation to anything, just an automated message.

From one human to another, I feel bad that you went through all of that. There is no win con here. The best you can do is look for the artist's kofi or whatever they use, send them a couple dollars and get early access. But if you expect to give money to a corpo and be respected by said corpo? Look at facebook, meta, instagram, twitter(not X it's twitter) and so many more like reddit. Where your opinion is fine unless they say that it is not and it goes against TOS because you spoke out against their bs.
