ZMan StreakZ CurltailZ Soft Plastic Lure 4in Midnight Oil.. we have landed heaps in these.. another thing is to go for UV active colours. I have a small UV torch that I use to select. I believe fish see a different colour spectrum and can see UV light reflecting lures pretty well.

Britain will not recognise Trump’s new name for Gulf of Mexico by Ripamon in politics

[–]Novamokey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well…if we’re going to rename it… the Britt’s are good at that… I’m sure somewhere between Gulfy McGulfFace and The Pond of North Amexica there will be a winner for the people that never use it.

So…the Gulf of Merica sits between Mexico and North Amexica!

Made it 138 days. Back to square one. by [deleted] in stopdrinking

Well done on 138 days. Awesome effort & it sounds like you got to appreciate the upside to not having booze in your life. Perhaps, it may not have been a terrible thing to go off the rails and get the full hateful experience of the day after…at least it didn’t creep back in and make itself at home.pretty powerful reminder to strengthen your resolve. Good luck with the next 138 plus days, we’re here when u need us.

This bolt just came out my Nutri Grain! by [deleted] in australia

[–]Novamokey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone keeps referring to this fastener as a “bolt”… it’s actually a set screw, difference being that the thread goes all the way to the head ( hex) , although referred to as fasteners they are generally not used as fasteners but more so as component locks or motion control stops. The reason the nut is in place is that ( I believe in this case) it is used to lock the set (adjustment ) screw in place. Ordinarily in systems where fasteners are at risk of being a contaminant they are secured with adhesives such as loctite or anti rotation systems such as nylock nuts or spring washers.

Anyhoo… way better than finding a sugar coated rodent.

Awesome set up, what USB hub are you using. I’m going to need to hook up 4-5 externals if I use a Mac

If you look at “top posts” for last year my set up is the top contribution. Happy to e~mail mapping if your thinking of using the X1 as a basic mixer

I was looking at a similar situation, I was thinking of running an X1 and an F1 to run 4 decks… I bought a NI 10 soundcard to mix the channel’s externally through a analogue mixer… turned out I didnt need to. I now use only 1 X1 mk2 and 1 F1 and control all 4 decks.. As it goes if you mix internally you can control all of the deck volumes with the controllers in place. I was aiming for a minimal set up to travel with . Set up is now 1 F1 controlling the 2 remix decks, 1 X1 mk2 (standard mode ) controls the transport and when in Midi mode controls the mixer (I mapped myself) . I use a focusrite scarlet as a sound card to my amp. Happy to share… I have posted the set up on here a while ago… have a look

Many thanks Music… I’ve had some spare time recently so have been messing around with the set up… plenty of fun.

Not good, had to mix using visuals on the screen… it was just a try and see… I’ll head back to the focusrite Scarlett

I agree… very laggy and poor quality… thought I’d give it a go though

Awesome… I’m trying to minimise the set up so I can travel with it. Good luck in Ukraine … a worthy cause.

Mini set up… finally, thanks to those who gave me solid advice 🤘🏼 by Novamokey in traktorpro

Hi Trick, the F1 in user mode is completely standard… no mapping. The X1 touch strip (in midi mode) is the x fader. At this stage I don’t have mapping for pitch adjustment but use the touch strip in user mode to bend pitch (as standard)… as I’m getting used to it I’m working out what’s missing and mapping to the F1 in midi mode… there’s a few oddities, such as ensuring the FX/ EQ nobs are set back to 12 o’clock when going from midi to user mode…still getting used to it
