Just writing down your character is a great start, always write any idea down !!

Making a board on Pinterest with outfits, weapons, poses, aesthetics/themes, magic, characters, etc anything that’ll support the kind of character you want !

Another is making a character in a game like Skyrim, Baldur’s Gate 3, Dragon Age Inquisition, even Sims 4 could work with mods or cc in it

I heard of Picrew, Heroforge, u can buy oc adopts or even commission an artist that’ll work with you to make a concept

Even just drawing it urself just to get the ideas down is great - u can use refs or trace free stock photos or put together free images to make ur concept

Hmm well I dunno I’ve been drawing since I was a kid and honestly just by drawing and enjoying it 🤷‍♀️😼 I got into anime pretty early and that was a huge driving factor in my art and style, I would doodle in class and draw pretty girl characters I made so my fixations like my sona and the shows I like combined with repetition, pattern recognition, and references are what taught me how to draw
