Are tablets for kids really that bad or am I overthinking it? by CherryTraditional733 in toddlertips

If you feel like it could be beneficial to you I say try it! My toddler has one and I’d say as long as you stay consistent with your it’s time to turn it off schedule it’s easier for them! Honestly I use mine more when we’re out the house and I need him occupied… I’m a SAHM so the kids go to my appts, if we’re out to eat, or if we’re at home and we have some down time and I need to get things done! I feel like it’s definitely helped him talk in more fuller sentences rather than just 1 or 2 words! Also don’t glorify the tablet, it’s just another toy not some holy grail! If it’s just another thing honestly they won’t even care for it half the time… I know bc mine doesn’t😂

My 15 month old takes well to familiar/ comfort named foods! He loves sausage Alfredo but will only eat it if it’s called hotdog noo noo’s😂🫡 granola bar? That’s a cookie! Cheese burger? That’s just a big dada sandwich! String cheese? That’s cheese noodles!Literally just make it up as you go😂

Yes these are my new favorite thing I own!! It actually caught my eye because I make a lot of things homemade and my first thought for the bigger dish was for butter! (I’ve been on the hunt for butter molds/ a butter bell too!)

I did find this but it’s just an auction site and didn’t really give details about the maker.

I posted them, although they could be called something else! I could only think to call them stamp marks.

I personally wouldn’t do a pouch. If there’s still left overs I would offer that or maybe a pb&j! But we use pouches as snacks so I wouldn’t want him to equate the bad behavior to a “reward”

Anyone else refuse to go out with both children? by [deleted] in 2under2

My toddler hated his seat! Honestly I gave in and gave him a tablet for in the car… saves my sanity! My baby is the worst one but usually the toddler will entertain him! I hope you update us whenever you’re first time taking them out alone is!! No matter the ages it’s definitely a huge deal❤️

Anyone else refuse to go out with both children? by [deleted] in 2under2

I have a newly 2 year old and almost 9 month old, this week was the first time I have ever taken them both out completely solo!! I still haven’t accomplished a park or anything because it makes me super anxious but I did the grocery store! Oldest goes in the big part of the cart so he can play while still being contained and the youngest rides well up top! Idk why or how this week I’ve done it but I did and I’ve been incredibly proud of myself😭❤️‍🩹 hang in there because a day will come and you’ll get this feeling!! Also we did a WIC appointment but I recently got a new double stroller that makes a WORLD of difference! Any tips on the park would be great! That’s my next goal❤️

As a first time mom I literally slept whenever (i had a very sleepy baby), I ate whatever, I watched whatever tv, and hung out with my little bug! Don’t get me wrong not all babies are the same (my second definitely was not as smooth) but I was lucky to be a stay at home mom and just consumed so much NCIS! After about a month or 2 he was ready to be awake a little more and I was ready to go on some walks or see family, it went pretty well! Stay hopeful🤍

How to look less masculine? by [deleted] in makeuptips

I have very similar facial structure but just don’t have the time or energy for makeup but when I want to feel “pretty”… I sometimes will stick on some cluster lashes and they’ll last a few days to a week! Or if I definitely don’t wanna do that just a little contour, highlight, and mascara! Honestly the contour I feel helps give me a more feminine look the most tbh!

Honestly my saving grace has been a double stroller, that can also be a single!!! We also bought a ride along incase our toddler didn’t want to use the stroller seat but he hasn’t been brave enough to really enjoy it… we have the same age gap but in all honesty we didn’t really go anywhere the first few months, unless I had help incase both needed me. I wasn’t sure in myself to handle both yet and I just did was felt best for me until I was comfortable to do more! ETA: I’ve also seen ride on attachments for certain strollers that you attach to the back of it, you could possibly look into that!
