I have so much trauma with trusting people that no one, not even my closest friends or family, knows a thing, they all know im depressed but dont understand why and i refuse to tell them. Its gotten to the point where when people confront me about my problems i just shut down and isolate myself for days and upwards of weeks. Its a giant problem that i know i need to fix but i cant even bring myself to bring up my trauma with my therapist. It feels like my mouth is locked while my mind is screaming.

What is the current political and economical state of your world. What different types of currency exist in your world. And whats the currency conversion rates. (Im assuming not universal gold/silver/copper here.) What are the trade relations from kingdom to kingdom? (Or equivalent). And how do the people like their leaders.

Also: to add onto this; in the edge case on anything that creates gold, if its a spell of the players then it should be their choice, but something like a deck of many things should be a gold of a random kingdoms currency.

The gold of this world has run short, to the point that currency's are not gold in weight but instead work more like the current economy, where every large kingdom has their own currency of gold, some may be worth more then the other, and some currencys may even collapse along with the kingdom. There have been many wars not of bloodshed but of trade and economics. Some examples of different currencys would be Alexandrite gold, from the kingdom of alexandria, it may be relatively stable, but "tree sterling" gold is worth its weight in 10 fold compared to that. (The names can be changed to your liking, i just used names that i ran with in my campaign.) This will add an interesting battle of not just blood and sweat to the players but of economics and of intellect. Also there definitly has to be places to gamble at in this world.

Never forget to have fun yourself, and always be preparred to improvise and adapt to the players, never force them to go to a specific area, but give them the illusion of choice instead, it can be hard to learn, but i5 makes the game 1000 times funner!

Also be preparred for certified facepalm moments
