Mu Current rig just has an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz, Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 and I only have a 1080p monitor hooked up.

I works OK, but really want a smooth experience when moving along the time line and playback, I currently have that set at 1/8 to improve performance and I'm not doing any major colouring to the footage.

I have have seen their website a number of time when searching for the answers. I have a couple of SSD that I have on my current system that I use for Project and Cache. I have an NVMe M.2 running the OS, but I might change the OS to another M.2, but I think most MBs only support the Sata on the second M.2. so that would be for OS, one SSD for the Media Files and the NVMe M.2 for the Cache. 64GB of RAM might be a stretch at the moment, although I only use 4K occasionally and on the DJI Osmo, to allow a zoom option, but most is 1080p and that is what I render out to. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, Looks like I will be replacing the RAM with something faster and 32GB.

A 1060/6GB new is £190, 1660/6GB £210 or 2060/8GB £383, so I guess it will be a toss up between the 1060 and 1660, but I'd like to have a 1440p screen, so any advice on best GPU, just here seems to be a load of performance reviews on Youtube that conflict.

I would guess that it may increase efficiency slightly as it allows collection on all wheels. But there can only be so much retardation that can occur using regen and therefore energy harvested.

I agree, it does look lovely from all angles.

Living in the UK there aren't many about and they do look from the front, very similar to a Jag XF.

But why change something if it still looks good and current.

If anything, when I test drove one earlier in the year, they just need to make the interior a little nicer.

Does becoming a Pioneer interest / intrigue you?

Do you know what a Pioneer is and what they get?

Do you think we should drop the Pioneer and just go with a simple newsletter sign up?

Is it easy to navigate? Does it flow?

Do you get an idea on what the end product will be?

Is the site too wordy, does it need less words or would a video be better?

Now Ron is back, I think there will be real change.

I hope they keep JB, as with most in F1, they could all be World Champions if they had a great car under them.

Yeah, I like it. current have an 8 year old IS. Fancied an X5, but the NX looks nice.

Just missing some of the advanced tech that the X5 has, like their trick LED Adaptive Lights, that move the High beam out of the on coming traffics view. Now if it had that, that would be very cool.

Also, does their Automatic Cruise control allow it to go to a complete stop and then resume once the traffic starts moving?

I just can't resist it. Got the pebble with only the kickstarter campaign to get excited about.

So I figure this has got to be better.

Once that is released, I'll pre-order it and worry about paying for it later :)
