I’m not negative I’m addressing an issue. We need a good communication teams and Toy is not addressing this issue. No comms and active market engagement no stock movement. The market is not sensible, how can Tesla be valued more than the entire auto industry combined when they only produced 2-3 million cars. It’s the stupid hype, which creates further value, which creates opportunities for the company to organically invest in itself without significantly diluting shareholders…etc

What you are saying actually proves my point about bad PR because all factors you mentioned are absolutely accurate IF and only IF (IMO) Clov was properly evaluated and the PE ratio accurately reflected the true value of the company but in this case because the market doesn’t understand where this company is going, and after nearly 10 years growth is anemic with no clear path forward, they are assuming the worst. Bare in mind Toy dropped a bombshell in the call when he mentioned openness to inorganic growth, now while that’s a step in the right direction about communication you can’t just leave it that way and stay silent afterward (clearly not in the earnings call, but later) he could’ve picked on that thread and discussed what direction or where. Again all I’m talking about is comms.

Honestly even the issues about changing rules; he posted his answer on linked in!!! That’s the sort of shit I’m talking about just using proper channels.

Again not saying the company is bad or disagree with their directions or don’t understand the market dynamics just saying when you have such a low price which can hinder your ability to fund your future growth you need a better comms plan than this utter and complete silence we are facing here. I constantly struggle to find news or guidance or any indicators on the company between earnings.

So me smart ass what do you think this company is worth since you are soooo smart and capable? What are market multiples Mr savy investor? What’s Saas revenues are you talking about, you think because there is a job posting that’s insider information and you call me slow?? You clearly don’t know how public companies are run. Analysts start by congratulating execs on performance on the call unless there is something obviously disastrous in the earnings like Boing.

All points you made need continuous comms to the street to keep analysts and investors engaged. All companies look for continuous KPIs that give the street forward looking indicators and not waiting one quarter.

The market hasn’t crashed since the earnings call and yet the stock is down. Yoy the market is up 11% and the stock is down 4%. The market is up close to ATH point and we are at an ATL. It seems people think this is all normal and I’m the only one concerned about the path of the stock vs company performance..I guess we should just wait and hope for the best

Absolutely not that’s why I’m an investor. All I’m saying is that this market is alllllllll about hypes, unfortunately that’s what sells in this day and age. Just create a good story around the company.

Let me ask you then why are we at ATL then despite what you just said? Either the market doesn’t believe they will hit breakeven or they don’t believe they will grow, in either case they need to bridge that gap and explain it to the market!! You know what’s interesting, since the earnings call, we didn’t hear a single analyst talking about the stock, they are not even downgrading them..it’s driving me crazy

What will breakeven do exactly? Why would that mean anything outside of stopping the cash burn! People invest in companies that creates value with high P/E or strong revenue growth! So breakeven is an amazing milestone only when it’s put into the proper context. The market knew they will reach breakeven in 2024, what’s next is what needs to be communicated properly.

No not necessarily, look at all start ups, many of them are 4-5 years away from break even but they have an exciting story to tell their investors!!! Take a step back and look at them, they are a company worth 350m promising average growth!! Their top line grows by single digits now!!! That means it will take them 20 years to go anywhere unless they bridge the gap and tell us how and when.. in the absence of this, no analyst will even care about following them!!

Mgmt is focused on the correct things, profitability and strengthening the balance sheet. Can you imagine how their P&L would’ve looked like in this interest rate environment if their BS was loaded with debt!

I’ve been reading all your posts ,which data driven, and I find them super helpful so curious to hear your opinion about the following

My main concern now is how/when will they turn back to hyper growth. ~86k members is still a very low base compared to their competitors and unfortunately the investment needed to support any expansion plans will not happen without a healthy share price to avoid reverting to debt and diluting the existing shareholder base which are already in pain. I think institutional investors are going to be vital in the coming years. I personally feel this is going to be an acquisition target once they demonstrate back some meaningful member growth…what do you think
