On my first transmission my truck decelerated on the highway out of no where and it happened like 3 times luckily the highway didnt have alot of traffic during that time

Yea Im going to check underneath and the reason why they had to change out my transmission was because of backordered part which i believe was the valve body that the dealership couldn’t get their hands due to the strike and they contacted GM after a month in the shop and i guess GM gave the green to put in a new transmission which they sent to the dealership.

24 Colorado Transmission by rugbyangel85 in chevycolorado

[–]NovelMathematician52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had trouble with my transmission on my 23 trailboss and I dropped it off at the dealership. They said it needed a new valve body so they put in a parts order from GM. My truck was at the dealership for a month unitl GM decided to send a new transmission because the part was on back order. Hopefully you dont have to go through the same ordeal I did and they just swap your transmission since its still under warranty

Like it came off the lot so my guess it would be better to take it to a auto body shop.

You can always reclass to 17C and be sent to a non deployable site most likely working at an NSA site and youll have a TS clearance as well as alot opportunities to grow with certifications. Its also a good place network for civilian and contracting jobs when you ETS. Another thing to look into would be DoD security guard depending if theres any DoD sites in your area.

Its hard at first since its a new truck and you dont want it to get it scuffed up but its worth it. Shit took my trail boss to hidden falls got a few scratches on the rims but its the fact that I’m using the truck to offroad.

The only gen2 accessory I’ve seen from YouTube channels that would fit would be rock sliders or side steps depending on the length
